Sistem Penunjang Keputusan dengan Metode SAW (Simple Additive Weight) dalam Pemilihan Karyawan Teladan

Abstrak

This study aims to implement the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method as a decision-making tool to scientifically determine the best employee based on multiple predetermined evaluation criteria. The selection of exemplary employees is an essential task for human resources departments in order to maintain productivity, reward performance, and encourage a healthy work environment. The system was developed using Visual Basic 6.0, which enables the automated calculation of employee scores using the SAW method. The SAW method, as part of the Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) framework, allows for the weighting and aggregation of different criteria to arrive at a final ranking of candidates. In this research, the evaluation process included both manual calculations and computerized processing to ensure accuracy and consistency. The results showed that the highest score, 1.06, was achieved by the employee Andi Karno. The second-highest score was 1.04, obtained by Fariani, and the third-highest score was 1.03, achieved by an employee coded as 1.01. These scores reflect the comprehensive assessment based on factors such as performance, discipline, teamwork, and initiative. The comparison between manual and automated results confirmed the reliability of the proposed system. It is expected that this approach can support the Human Resources Department (HRD) in conducting fair and objective employee evaluations. Furthermore, the system can be enhanced and integrated into broader HR management applications to streamline personnel assessment processes in the future. The study concludes that the SAW method is effective and applicable for decision support in employee selection.
